The tailors of the old bazaar
Measurements in a notebook, a tape around the neck and thirty years of regular customers.

In a row of narrow shops, a dozen tailors work side by side, each with a sewing machine and a stack of notebooks.
Those notebooks hold measurements for families going back decades. Some customers have not been measured in years; the tailor simply adjusts from memory.
Ready-made clothes have taken much of the work. The tailors survive on weddings, uniforms and people who want something that fits.
