Night bus route adds four stops near the hospitals

The late-night bus route in Multan has added four new stops, including two outside the main government hospitals and one at the railway station.

Buses now run every 30 minutes from 10 pm to 1 am. Fares are unchanged and the same card works on day and night routes.

Hospital staff on night shifts had asked for the change for more than a year. A nurse said the last rickshaw home often cost more than a day's lunch.

The transport office said it would count passengers for three months before deciding on a second night route.
