Marathon route announced, with water every 2.5 km

The annual city run in Multan will return in February with three distances: a full route for experienced runners, a 10 km route for first-timers and a 3 km family walk.

Organisers said water stations will be placed every 2.5 km, and the route avoids the two flyovers that caused problems last year.

Registration opens in November. Runners under 18 need a parent's signature.

Roads on the route will close from 6 am to 11 am on race day.
