Five days in the Hunza valley without rushing
Slow mornings, one big hike and a day off. An itinerary for people who hate itineraries.

Most Hunza plans try to fit everything into three days. We did less, stayed longer and enjoyed it more.
We based ourselves in one guest house for all five nights, which meant no daily packing and a host who knew which roads were open.
“The mountains are not going anywhere. You do not have to see them all in one trip.”
The day we did nothing
Day three was the big hike. Day four was nothing at all: apricots, tea and a book on a terrace facing the peaks.
