Tanka Tailors has been stitching in Allama Iqbal Town since 2003. We started with two machines and one master, Ustad Rafiq, who still checks every cut himself. We take a fixed number of orders before each Eid so we never hand back a rushed suit. Customers send us their old favourite kameez and we copy the fit exactly.

FAQ
Questions people ask us
How long does custom stitching take?
Regular stitching takes 7 to 10 days. Before Eid we close stitching bookings about three weeks early, so please book in time.
When should I order my bridal dress?
Ideally three to four months before the wedding. Hand embroidery takes 8 to 10 weeks, and we want time for at least three fittings.
Do you deliver outside Lahore?
Yes, everywhere in Pakistan through our courier partners. Delivery takes 3 to 5 working days and costs Rs 250, free on orders above Rs 7,000.
Is cash on delivery available?
Yes, on all ready-to-wear and unstitched orders. Bridal and made-to-order pieces need a 50% advance to start work.
What is your exchange policy?
Unworn items with tags can be exchanged within 7 days for a different size or design. Stitched-to-measure and sale items cannot be exchanged.
Can I send my measurements online?
Yes. Send a well-fitting suit to our store or follow our measurement guide on WhatsApp, and our master will confirm everything on a call.
Will the colour look the same as on the website?
We shoot in daylight to keep colours true, but screens differ slightly. If you are unsure, ask on WhatsApp for a video of the actual piece.
Do you do alterations on bridal dresses bought elsewhere?
Yes, we alter lehengas and maxis from other designers too. Bring it in for a fitting and we will quote after seeing the work.
