Lahori Zaiqa is a family dhaba-style restaurant in Allama Iqbal Town, opened in 2010 by Malik Akram. The menu is short and the food is what Lahore grew up on: karahi in desi ghee, paye on Sundays and doodh patti that is boiled properly. Our staff will talk to you in Punjabi or Urdu, whichever you like.
The mutton karahi is the closest I have found to the ones on GT Road. We come every second Friday now.
They catered our mehndi for 220 people. Food was hot till the last round and the staff stayed on until 1am without complaint.
We order lunch boxes for 40 people every day. Menu changes daily and they have not been late once in four months.
Spanish latte and kunafa after class is our routine. Seating is comfy and the Wi-Fi actually works.
Took my parents for Sunday nashta. Halwa puri was fresh and the chanay had proper flavour. Parking was easy too.
Seekh kebabs reached in 35 minutes and were still warm. Packaging did not leak at all.

All meat is halal and bought fresh every morning from the same suppliers we have used for years. We do not use frozen chicken for tikka or karahi.
Yes. Just tell us when ordering. Karahi and BBQ can be made mild, medium or full spice.
For events under 100 guests, three days is enough. For weddings and larger events, book at least two weeks ahead, especially in December and the wedding season.
Yes, there is a separate family hall and cabins. Parking is available in front, and on weekends a guard helps with valet.
