Bun kebab is cheap, filling and best eaten standing up after midnight.

A good one has a patty that is crisp at the edges, fried in an egg coat right in front of you, with raw onion and a chutney that actually bites.

We list three stalls in Karachi that still make the patty fresh instead of reheating a stack from the afternoon.

How to order like a regular

  1. Ask for 'double anda' if you are hungry.
  2. Say 'chutney zyada' for extra green chutney.
  3. Eat it hot; it does not travel well.
