The halwa puri queue starts at 7 on Sundays
Why a small stall near the old market sells out before 10, and what to order when you get there.

By 7 am on a Sunday the queue at this stall in Lahore is already twenty people long. Nobody seems to mind.
The puris are thin and puffed, the chana is spicy with a sour edge, and the halwa is loose, warm and not too sweet. The aloo bhujia on the side is the sleeper hit.
Go before 9. After that the halwa runs out and the puris come out smaller as the oil gets tired.
