Haveli Dastarkhwan opened in 1998 when Haji Nazir moved his small karahi stall from Lakshmi Chowk to a proper dining hall in Model Town. His son now runs the kitchen, and his grandson handles catering. The recipes have not changed, and neither has the rule of buying meat fresh every single morning.
